Age Groups
7/8 Year Old Team
Our youngest group is typically made up of 1st and 2nd graders. Our #1 goal is to make the game fun and fast. We will teach this group all the basics of running plays, blocking, and tackling. League rules are built to protect the smaller, younger players. Anyone intentionally handling the football must be 90 pounds or less. Team based on player's age as of August 1st, 2022.
9/10 Year Old Team
Our middle group is typically made up of 3rd and 4th graders. Love for the game is the primary goal for this group also. We expand on the fundamentals learned in 7/8s and move into more intermediate parts of the game. League weight limits are in place in this age group also. Anyone intentionally handling the football must be 120 pounds or less. Team based on player's age as of August 1st, 2022.
11/12 Year Old Team
Our oldest group is typically made up of 5th and 6th graders. Love for the game is still the ultimate goal. We further expand on the lessons learned in 9/10s and move into advanced parts of the game. League weight limits are in place in this age group. Anyone intentionally handling the football must be 135 pounds or less. Team based on player's age as of August 1st, 2022.
The 2021 11/12 year old team posted a record of 10-0 and won the Super Bowl. They only gave up 8 points the entire season. This is a Buccaneer record!
